The Hays County Records Division is responsible for all Hays County Sheriff’s Office Records. To submit a records request (accident reports, police reports, etc), please use our Gov QA system.



If you'd like to see if a vehicle is stolen before you purchase it, you can check at https://www.nicb.org/vincheck.
If you'd like to see if a firearm is stolen before you purchase it, you can contact your closest Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer (any place that sells firearms).
