Introduction

The goal of the Department is to provide public safety while addressing the needs of juvenile offenders, families, victims, and the community at large.

The Department is responsible for ensuring the orders and rules of the Court are followed by each probationer. Juveniles are supervised in compliance with policies and standards established by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, the Juvenile Board, and the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer.
