Healthy Hays Coalition

Welcome to the Healthy Hays Coalition!

The Healthy Hays Coalition (HHC) was formed from the Community Health Improvement Plan in the 2023 Community Health Assessment with the goal of improving coordination and provision of health resources and services throughout Hays County.

The Healthy Hays Coalition plans to achieve their goals through community organizations, strategic planning, and policy change with municipal and local government entities.

  • Child Health

The Child Health Workgroup of the Healthy Hays Coalition is dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and future of all children in Hays County. • Adult Health

The Adult Health Workgroup of the Healthy Hays Coalition is dedicated to improving adult health by addressing the social and structural factors that shape well-being—such as housing, income, education, transportation, and access to care. Through cross-sector collaboration and community engagement, we work to reduce health disparities and create equitable conditions that support healthy lives for all adults in Hays County.
