Judicial Services Family Liaison

Welcome to the Judicial Services Family Liaison Page

At Judicial Services, we recognize that the court process can be overwhelming for defendants and their families. Our Family Liaison is here to support you by providing information, answering questions, and helping you navigate the pretrial process as it pertains to defendants under the authority of the Hays County Jail.

How We Help

  • Clear Communication: We explain court procedures, pretrial services, and supervision requirements in plain language.
  • Support Resources: We connect families to community resources such as substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and other local resources as deemed appropriate.
  • Ongoing Assistance: We provide updates and guidance throughout the pretrial period to help families stay informed. (*This information will only be disclosed if the client under our supervision grants permission.)
  • Confidentiality: All conversations with the Family Liaison are confidential unless there are concerns about safety or legal requirements to disclose information.
