Jacob's Well Natural Area
Jacob's Well Natural Area's trail system features approximately 3 miles of trails with a mix of surfaces: compacted granite, mulch, and natural surfaces. Compacted granite trails are considered accessible.
Viewing Jacob's Well
The hike down to Jacob's Well features compacted granite, natural surfaces, as well as several staircases. Due to the terrain and elevation, strollers and wheelchairs are not able to navigate the final portions of the trail. Hays County Park staff are happy to provide mobility assistance whenever possible. If available, staff may transport visitors with mobility needs down to Jacob's Well via UTV.
