NOTICE OF A MEETING OF
HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS AND THE HAYS COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION (HCLEA)
This Notice is posted pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act (VERNONS TEXAS CODES ANN. GOV. CODE CH.551) and Section 174.108 of the Texas Local Government Code. Hays County and the Hays County Law Enforcement Association (HCLEA) will hold a meeting at 9:30 A.M. on the 13th day of April, 2026, at the Hays County Public Safety Building, Media Room, 810 S. Stagecoach Trail, San Marcos, Texas 78666. An Open Meeting will be held concerning the following subjects:
CALL TO ORDER
ROLL CALL
PUBLIC COMMENTS
1. Introduction of negotiation team members.
2. Introduction of County support staff and other County subject matter experts.
3. Discussion and possible action regarding bargaining protocols and ground rules.
4. Discussion and possible action regarding the aspects of the Collective Bargaining Agreement that are currently open for negotiation.
5. Discussion and possible action to set or confirm markets for salary studies.
6. Discussion and possible action to set future meeting dates.
ADJOURNMENT
The County will announce that it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from legal counsel regarding any item on this agenda.
