What?
The Back-to-School Health Fair is a great opportunity for Hays County residents to get ready for the new school year with free preventive health screenings, vaccinations (for those who qualify), connections to local resources, and fun activities for all ages!
When?
August 1st, 2026 from 9 AM- 1PM
What services will be provided:
- Free back to school vaccines (for those children who qualify under Texas Vaccines for Children) *
- Free hotdogs and paletas
- Free haircuts (boys and girls)
- Free vision and hearing screenings
- Free backpacks with school supplies (until supplies last)
- Firetruck visits
- Games and actvities (Giant Jenga, Connect 4, cornhole)
- Other giveaways from various vendors!
*Information on vaccine pre-registration to come!
