Provides strategic communications for Hays County and serves as a liaison between county departments, elected officials, media outlets, and the community. The division crafts clear and accessible messaging across multiple platforms—including press releases, social media, newsletters, and public service announcements. The division is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public information plans. The Communications team ensures timely, accurate, and engaging dissemination of county-related news, policies, and initiatives to both internal stakeholders and the public.
